Extremadura has an outstanding quality regarding the production of honey and pollen due to the rich flora in our region.

Honey from Villuerca Ibores has guarantee of origin. It has an intense aroma and dark amber colour with greenish or reddish highlights.

The kirsch from Valle del Jerte has been blended in a traditional way, being one of the most characteristic flavours from Extremadura together with acorn liquor.

The homemade cakes are perrunillas, magdalenas, roscas de alfajor, mantecados, pastas de coco among others.

Regarding wine, Guadiana guarantee of origin is divided in areas such as: Cañamero, Matanegra, Montánchez, Ribera Baja, Ribera Alta and Tierra de Barros.

The “pitarra” is a bright clean red wine, a good table wine made from different kinds of grapes.
